On December 13th, the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce​ had the pleasure of hosting our highly anticipated Barefoot Bowl Sundowner at the beautiful Lake Monger Recreation Club​. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to make this event such a memorable occasion.

It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and make new connections, all while enjoying a fun-filled evening of barefoot bowls, French petanque, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. The perfect way to wrap up the year!

Here are some highlights from the event:

• Barefoot Lawn Bowls provided a relaxed and enjoyable activity for all, whether you were a seasoned player or a first-timer. The friendly competition added to the lively atmosphere.

• The French Petanque courts, courtesy of Maison de France, were a big hit. Guests had a great time trying their hand at this classic French game, bringing an extra layer of enjoyment to the event

• Our guests were treated to a delightful array of food, including the much-anticipated éclairs from Eiffel Éclair​, which certainly lived up to the excitement. Alongside these delectable pastries, a vibrant selection of colourful grazing boards was on offer, ensuring there was something to satisfy every taste throughout the evening.

We hope you all had a chance to unwind, mingle, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere as much as we did. A big thank you to our wonderful participants for making this event such a success.

As the year comes to a close, we are excited about the memories we have created together this year and look forward to even more exciting events in 2025. Until then, we wish you a joyful festive season and a fantastic new year ahead.
