The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industryโ€‹ VIC Chapter (FACCI) was delighted to welcome small business owners and entrepreneurs to an engaging and insightful evening on Wednesday, 9 April 2025, at International Chamber House in Melbourne.

With the generous support of Forvis Mazars, this exclusive event was offered free of charge to FACCI members, providing a valuable opportunity to gain expert insights and practical strategies tailored specifically for small businesses.

The evening commenced with an inspiring keynote address by The Hon. Natalie Suleyman MP, Minister for Small Business and Employment, who shared her vision and support for the growth of the SME sector, setting an uplifting tone for the sessions ahead.

Attendees were then invited to take part in three workshops of their choice, selected from six cross-sector sessions. Each workshop addressed key challenges faced by small businesses: from branding and communication with Studio Morellon, to artificial intelligence with M+ Software, navigating recruitment and visa frameworks with HR A la Carte and Visa Executive Pty Ltd, funding options for SMEs with Judo Bankand la French Tech, sales strategy with FoundersGo2, and tax management fundamentals with Forvis Mazars.

Led by accomplished professionals from the small business and start-up community, each session provided hands-on, actionable advice, sparking meaningful conversations and the exchange of ideas.

To conclude the evening, guests enjoyed drinks and light refreshments courtesy of our event partners, Long Paddock Cheese and MOSAIQUE WINES, creating a relaxed setting for attendees to connect with peers and industry experts alike.

FACCI's SMEs Workshops event once again demonstrated our ongoing commitment to supporting the SME community, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation throughout Victoria.
