The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry is delighted to invite you to its 2025 Federal AGM & Networking Evening, taking place on Thursday, 29 May, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, and online from 6:00 pm.


This AGM will not only provide an excellent platform to present the Chamber's 2024 financial results and outline our focus for 2025 and beyond, but it will also be a great opportunity for you to discover how the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce can support you this year. Additionally, we will unveil the Census reporton French-owned Australian entities and French entrepreneurs.


Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the AGM. Alternatively, you may submit questions in advance to business.services@facci.com.au.

    Mr. Imbert has worked with the President of the Republic since May 2017, initially as Social Advisor. In 2020, he was appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, in charge of the public policy division.

    From 2012 to 2017, he was successively Advisor and then Chief of Staff to several ministers of Labor and Employment.

    General Inspector of Finance, an economist by training (Master in economics and MBA from ESCP Europe), he worked in the private sector from 2003 to 2012, first with the consulting firm Altedia, where he was heading the social engineering, restructuring and economic development department, then by becoming a founding partner of the consulting firm Alixio.

    He initially began his professional career in research and education at the University of Paris Sorbonne, before being appointed from 1997 until 2002 as Counselor of the President of the Finance Commission of the National Assembly.

    Alexis joins the Forvis Mazars Melbourne office as a Partner in the audit and financial advisory divisions with 14 years’ experience as an audit advisor. Alexis’ breadth of experience accumulated in Europe, Oceania and Asia adds significant value to the firm and its clients.

    Alexis started his career in Paris before relocating to Australia 11 years ago. Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, Alexis was a director at EY where he was the French business desk leader as well as a cultural diversity champion.

    Alexis is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia & New Zealand. He is also the Victorian President of the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce (FACCI) and a casual lecturer at the University of Melbourne.

    Having lived and worked globally over the last 20 years, she has a strong understanding of cultural differences and have built trusted cross-functional relationships with Business Leaders across Operations and Business Development.

    Currently the Chief Financial Officer at Transdev Australasia, a Public Transport Operator across ANZ, operating the iconic Sydney Ferries, Sydney Light Rail Network and Bus & Rail Services in multiple major cities.
    Prior, she worked with Thales and Keolis Downer in the Engineering and Transport Sectors and armed the Business Leaders with the financial insights to support the performance and growth of the businesses.
