French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) was founded in 1899. At the time, Australia’s trade relations with France were almost solely dependent on the export of wool. More than a century later, this relationship now includes a host of many other industries.

The French-Australian Chamber is an independent not-for-profit organisation governed by 15 Board of Directors and comprising of more than 470 members. Our head office is based in Sydney and we also have four other Chapters and offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

The Chamber is affiliated with CCI France International, a worldwide network of 119 French Chambers operating in 94 countries.

The Chamber's main mission is to promote our members and help French and Australian companies succeed through information, networking and business support services.

Past Event

Thank you for attending the event!

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) was delighted to welcome you to the 3rd Edition of its Sustainability Forum, held in a hybrid format—both in-person and online—at the premises of EY in Sydney.

With the support of our Naming Rights Sponsor, Schneider Electric, along with many other sponsors, the event fostered dynamic discussions on sustainable economic growth and the ambition of French and Australian businesses to forge their paths in the global innovative economy.

Key topics included "Charting the Future: Navigating Sustainability Reporting in Australia under the Global Lens", "Empowering Tomorrow: AI, Digitalisation, and Energy Consumption" and "Breaking Barriers: Balancing Short- and Long-Term Aims, Managing the Knowledge Gap, and Determining the Role of Government to Achieve Sustainability Outcomes." Each session was enriched by lively panel discussions and engaging Q&A sessions, making the conversations both insightful and dynamic.

The key takeaway from these discussions was the clear call to action: "Walk the talk."

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors and partners, without whom this event would not have been possible:

A special thank you goes to EY for hosting the event and providing our guests with a warm welcome, enhancing the networking atmosphere.

We also want to thank our speakers and moderators for sharing their valuable expertise and insights during the discussions as well as our attendees, both in-person and online, for their presence and questions which significantly enriched our conversations.

We hope everyone enjoyed this morning, and we look forward to welcoming you back at our upcoming events!
