French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) was founded in 1899. At the time, Australia’s trade relations with France were almost solely dependent on the export of wool. More than a century later, this relationship now includes a host of many other industries.

The French-Australian Chamber is an independent not-for-profit organisation governed by 15 Board of Directors and comprising of more than 470 members. Our head office is based in Sydney and we also have four other Chapters and offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

The Chamber is affiliated with CCI France International, a worldwide network of 119 French Chambers operating in 94 countries.

The Chamber's main mission is to promote our members and help French and Australian companies succeed through information, networking and business support services.

Past Event

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland Chapter was delighted to welcome guests to its 2023 European Tchin Tchin on Thursday 16 November at Flight Center HQ's amazing rooftop venue.

As is the tradition each year, this special networking evening aimed to celebrate the strong bond between Australia and the European Union, as well as marking the end of a fantastic year at FACCI.

We were privileged to have Councillor Krista Adams, Civic Cabinet Chair for Economic Development & The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games who encouraged our members to actively participate in the preparation of the Games.

Over 130 FACCI members, along with friends from our European network, joined us to forge new business connections.
