French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) was founded in 1899. At the time, Australia’s trade relations with France were almost solely dependent on the export of wool. More than a century later, this relationship now includes a host of many other industries.

The French-Australian Chamber is an independent not-for-profit organisation governed by 15 Board of Directors and comprising of more than 470 members. Our head office is based in Sydney and we also have four other Chapters and offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

The Chamber is affiliated with CCI France International, a worldwide network of 119 French Chambers operating in 94 countries.

The Chamber's main mission is to promote our members and help French and Australian companies succeed through information, networking and business support services.

The French Australian Chamber of Commerce was delighted to welcome you to its 125th Anniversary cocktail dinatoire gala!


What a night we all had with our esteemed guest, H.E Pierre Andre Imbert​, The Ambassador of France to Australia!


It was a Tuesday that felt like a Saturday, a work function that felt like a gathering of friends, and work night that felt like party - all thanks to you. Your Great Gatsby outfits, excellent moods, eagerness to mingle, and determination to support the chamber created an unforgettable atmosphere. Merci to all of our guests!


In addition to our exceptional crowd, we also need to thank our exec team and partners: The Sofitel​ for their exquisite food and service. Prohibition Liquor​ for their superb Gin, Wearing Memory Wine Merchant​ for a fabulous selection of French Wines, Moet & Chandon​ ensuring Champagne was available for everyone to celebrate in style, and Fromager D'affinois​ for their incredibly successful Cheese Bar and David Reid​ for exhibiting an exceptional selection of his art.
