South Australia was celebrated as a prime Agrifood and Beverage production hub, standing at the forefront of innovative and creative solutions for sustainable food production.


This collaboration between AACCI and FACCI was designed to highlight the incredible export and overseas investment prospects our region has to offer. The event featured how our State lead the way in transforming food waste into valuable new products or integrating cutting-edge technologies to minimise food waste. These success stories pave new avenues for customer engagement and investment and demonstrated how AACCI and FACCI could play a pivotal role in expanding companies' international networks, bringing global opportunities directly to our doorstep.


With the Deputy Premier, the Hon. Susan Close MP's keynote address and Professor Steve Lapidge – CEO of End Food Waste Australia as a moderator, this exclusive event offered a unique platform for attendees to gain invaluable insights into the sustainable practices shaping our future. We found out about the new strategy just launched by End Food Waste Australia, heard from the French government, and learned what was being done to reduce food waste globally.
