Thank you for coming to our Transport and Infrastructure event with Keolis Downer

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was delighted to receive you to its Transport and Infrastructure panel event with Keolis Downer on Thursday, 19 September, from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Earlier that year, the South Australian Government announced that it would bring forward its renewable energy target by three years. Under the ambitious new target, electricity generation would be sourced from net 100 percent renewables by 2027. Enabled by this abundance of renewable energy, the South Australian Government began trials of hydrogen and battery electric powered buses as it accelerated SA towards zero-emission public transport.

This exclusive event offered a unique platform for attendees to gain invaluable insights into the renewable energy industry and the latest integrated ZEB (Zero Emission Bus) technology.

The session explored:

  1. The green hydrogen opportunity and how it could fuel zero-emission public transport.
  2. The challenge of harnessing renewables and the value chain required to charge bus fleets economically.
  3. The myths often associated with ZEBs.

Attendees met at central Adelaide Franklin Street terminal to get a private ride to Aldgate Village Well, where the function took place. Return to Adelaide was scheduled for 2 pm. The event included food and beverages.
