    Peter Muscet

Editor in Chief at WINE SHOWCASE MAGAZINE

Peter cut his teeth in the media industry in Adelaide, then quickly moved into Senior roles in Sydney before undergoing a sea change, combining his broadcasting and publishing experience with the wine industry.
He has been able to meld his knowledge and love of wine with many years of media experience and contacts, becoming whole-heartedly involved with the promotion of wines since 2004 after moving back to Adelaide from Sydney.
He has acquired an extensive rapport with the Australian wine industry, being in regular contact with wineries and distributors throughout the nation and overseas, and now has a thorough knowledge of the world of wine. All of this was gained through constant communication and travel with wine stakeholders in Australia, Europe, Australasia and the United States.
He is regularly invited to be a wine judge or guest speaker at wine awards around Australia and international events in Europe and Asia.
Having worked on several other wine-specific publications, Peter now focuses as the Publisher of Australian Wine Showcase Magazine, which launched over a decade ago. The magazine’s focus is on promoting Australian wines around the world. It proved so popular that it was released Australian-wide two years later.
The publication is distributed to an exclusive subscriber database of major liquor retailers, wine agents, restaurant owners, and food and beverage managers. This genuinely global publication features new-release wines tasted and ranked in their price point categories. The magazine also provides a platform for wineries to showcase the results of Australian wines to trade buyers and consumers. It is available in print and a digital service.
Wearing several hats, Peter has been heavily promoting Australian wines overseas through his association with the International Wine & Spirit Competition IWSC London where he was the Australian Brand Ambassador 2011 to 2018 and has been a sponsor and media partner of the Wine & Spirits Education Trust WSET, The London Wine Fair, The Chicago International Wine, Spirits & Beer Show, Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition, Vinitaly to name a few as well as the Royal Adelaide Wine Show in Australia.
His 30 years of experience in the media covering TV, Radio, Print and Digital is still with him, and he is the director of a media management business covering a broad range of national and international media assets. Peter still works on the board of several media companies and consults for third-party media companies on various operational issues.
