The French Australian Chamber of Commerce Industry​ was pleased to welcome you, in partnership with Invest Victoria​ and Bureau Veritas​, to a special event to welcome the MEDEF International​ delegation to Melbourne. The event took place on March 28, 2023 at Bureau Veritas​.

MEDEF International​ is a French organization that represents the interests of French companies operating globally. Their mission is to promote the international development of French companies by supporting them in their export activities and helping them to identify business opportunities in foreign markets. The primary aim of their visit to Australia is to meet leading actors of the Australian economy and promote international relations.

As part of their visit, Bureau Veritas​ hosted a cocktail, and a panel discussion focused on innovation. The panel reflected on the role of innovation and R&D in achieving sustainability goals and addressing societal challenges.

Anna Quillinan (Chief Development Officer - Energy Solutions at Engie ANZ) successfully moderated the discussion as Pascale Quester (Vice-Chancellor & President at SWINBURNE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY), Seved Robin (CEO of Bouygues Construction Australia), and Julie-Anna Smith (Head of Energy Transition & Sustainability Services at Bureau Veritas Australia Pty Ltd) provided us with insightful knowledge.

This event brought together industry leaders, and experts from various fields to discuss emerging trends and opportunities, exchange ideas and experiences, and identify potential areas for collaboration.
