Our Victorian Chapter had the pleasure of sponsoring the Les Lumieres VERT event!

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Victorian Chapter was delighted to present Les Lumieres VERT with the Bastille Day French Festival at ACMI's Swinburne Studio at Federation Square on Friday 15 July

The panel explored the critical role that new energy technology, innovation, and international collaboration will contribute towards the goal of net-zero emissions. Panellist, Prue Bokobza of Expertise France provided insight on renewable energy. Tamara Culembourg, Customer Director at Alstom and Kristen Richardson, Head of Communications & Sustainability of ANL, Oceania are experts on low-emissions transportation. Thierry Kalfon, CEO of ENGIE discussed the business case for net-zero while Dr Leonie Walsh rounded out the panel with insight into sustainable energy generation technology. Moderator, Assoc Prof. Justin Leontini, School of Mechanical Engineering, Swinburne University of Technology, ensured a thought-provoking conversation.

A networking session at Beer DeLuxe, Federation Square provided a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with the expert panel and attendees from across government, business, and tangent ecosystems involved in green technology and a net-zero future. Guests shared many lively discussions with experts across the entire sector and made invaluable new connections

Many thanks to the Bastille Day French Festival and to our partners, ANL, La French Tech, Swinburne University of Technology and Expertise France, without whom this event would not have been possible.

We look forward to welcoming you all to our next event!
