The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry​ WA Chapter was delighted to have you for a one-of-a-kind networking event on Wednesday April 12, 2023, at the Alliance Franรงaise de Perth​ where we discussed the upcoming total solar eclipse in Exmouth whilst meeting with 25 members of the French Astronomy Mission.


Our experts in the field delivered insightful presentations. Philippe Morel, head of the French Astronomy Mission and president of the Charles Fehrenbach Observatory in France, shared fascinating insights about the solar eclipse phenomenon and its significance, and Dr. Bruce Gendre, PhD in astrophysics and resident astronomer of the Zadko Observatory at the University of Western Australia, presented "What a bright dark sky Pitch," uncovering the true brightness of the night sky.
