Most Australian Companies have experienced more and more difficult negotiations (e.g. CPI) in the last 15 years, usually with their biggest Customers. And the current uncertain economic conditions have undoubtedly accelerated this trend, especially in the retail industry.
Whilst the agreed objective is to create shared value by managing the best mutual interest of all parties involved, the rules of engagement have drastically changed, mostly in favour of buyers, who became more demanding and unpredictable.
