https://statements.qld.gov.au/statements/97364After nearly 30 years’ experience in public policy, program development and service delivery across state and local government, Graham Fraine has been appointed as CEO of the Brisbane 2032 Coordination Office.
He is responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games for the Queensland Government, including overseeing infrastructure, First Nations’ engagement, sustainability, legacy and security. He has the significant task of coordinating the first Games under the International Olympic Committee’s New Norm process.
Graham has previously held a number of senior roles within the Queensland Government, including Deputy Under-Treasurer, and was the Director-General of the Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water from August 2021 – March 2023.

Kerry is the Executive General Manager, Operations of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee (Brisbane 2032). Kerry’s remit takes in a range of operational delivery functions including venues, villages, transport, security and accommodation. Kerry is also responsible for key partnerships including government relations, sustainability, impact and legacy, First Nations and human rights.
Kerry has significant experience forgoing productive stakeholder relationships and partnerships across complex operating environments. She bring over 32 years of public sector and major event experience including delivery of many significant public infrastructure programs and projects.
Kerry’s previous role was as the Associate Director-General of the Games Taskforce within the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, where she was responsible for leading the Queensland Government’s engagement in all activities associated with the successful candidature for the Games.

Dy Currie AM is Brisbane City Council’s City Planner and Executive General Manager Brisbane 2032 Host City and Strategic Partnerships. Dy is a highly experienced planning executive with national and international experience in planning and economic development.
Dy is the immediate Past President of the Commonwealth Association of Planners representing more than 40 000 planners around the world, a member of Global Future Council on Cities of Tomorrow and Co-Chair of UN Habitat’s Stakeholder Advisory Group. Dy was recognised in the Australia Day Honours list in 2020 for significant service to town planning and strategic urban development and appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM).
A past National President of the Planning Institute of Australia,
Dy is a Life Fellow of PIA, an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (UK) and also a Fellow of the Urban Development Institute of Australia.
Diogo is an architect and planner, and has over 15 years of dedicated work to major sports events, mostly FIFA World Cups and the Olympic Games. He is a partner at EGIS and responsible for the Sports and Events department on its behalf. His experience spans across all mega events, in terms of planning, designing and delivering with particular focus on infrastructure and legacy. Diogo currently advises and leads a multidisciplinary team to develop the venues briefs and concept plans for the Paris 2024 Olympics, including the creation of the Games’ vision for a citywide Olympic Park.
