Jodie leads international design, engineering and advisory company Aurecon’s dedicated circular economy team across Australia and New Zealand. She has a profound knowledge and experience working with partners ranging from leading corporates, emerging innovators to governments and academics in the circular economy field across Australia, Dubai and Europe – and was based in France for 13 years before returning home to Adelaide in 2016. As one of Australia’s leading circular economy experts, Jodie has trained hundreds of professionals and worked with governments and businesses big and small to develop circular economy projects and strategies.

Jodie is a board member of Circular Australia and member of the Cooperative Research Centres Advisory Committee, the Victorian Government’s Circular Economy Innovation Advisory Committee and the Australian Circular Economy Hub’s metrics working group.

Susan Close is the State Member for Port Adelaide and was elected on the 11th of February 2012.
Susan has lived on the LeFevre Peninsula for twenty years with Declan and their two children and is passionate about representing the people in her community.
Before entering Parliament, Susan was an executive in the SA Environment Department. She previously worked at the University of Adelaide running student services and holds a PhD from Flinders University.
Susan held several portfolios during the Weatherill Labor Government, including being Minister for Education and Minister for Innovation and Automotive Transformation.

Leading the Production and Team for SA Water, Garry oversees the efficient management of statewide infrastructure including pipelines, pump stations, water and waste water treatment plants and 22 Remote Indigenous Community water supply schemes to ensure our customers receive the water services they value and expect.

Garry joined SA Water in 2015 and brought a wealth of experience in the water and utilities industry, with his expertise honed from key positions spanning operations, and asset management.

Garry has led large teams in the delivery of large-scale, high profile services across including design and construction management of the rehabilitation of Eildon Dam in Victoria. Garry has also been involved in numerous irrigation community wide water savings projects associated with the Murray Darling Basin Plan implementation.

After several years in consultancy and audit firms, Wafaa joined SUEZ Group in 2010, where she worked in various groups and subsidiaries. Most recently she held the position of Deputy CEO for SUEZ Morocco.

Wafaa Joined Suez Team in Adelaide on Februyary’2023. She and the family are very excited to discover Adelaide and the Australian Culture. Wafaa is very committed to helping the community, having recently been Treasurer of Aquassistance Morocco and currently Board Director of the SUEZ Foundation. She was an active member of the French Commerce Chamber in Morocco.
She enjoys running and cycling and in 2022, she was part of a desert raid, a triathlon, and a half-marathon.

Mark has dedicated two decades to the water industry, excelling in leadership roles and joint ventures for major infrastructure projects. He began his journey with the SUEZ Group in 1999 as the Technical Operations Manager in South Africa, contributing significantly to business development, improvement, and national operating contracts covering water production, wastewater treatment, and reticulation networks.

After relocating to Australia in 2002, Mark managed the Cronulla Wastewater Treatment and later the Prospect Water Filtration Plant for SUEZ Australia and New Zealand. In 2010, he assumed the role of General Manager - Operations, overseeing SUEZ's operational contracts across both countries.

Mark's expertise and leadership have now led to his recent appointment as Vice President of Operations and Delivery for SUEZ Australia and New Zealand

Stéphanie Rinck-Pfeiffer is the Managing Director of the Global Water Research Coalition (GWRC).

The Global Water Research Coalition (GWRC) is an international water research alliance established in 2002 by a number of leading water and wastewater research organisations. The GWRC serves as a focal point for the global collaboration for research planning and execution on water and wastewater related issues.

Before her GWRC position, Stephanie was the Leader of the Source Water, Wastewater and Environment Research Program at the South Australian Water Corporation in Adelaide (Australia).

Previous roles have included Principal Advisor Climate Change and Sustainability for the South Australian Water Corporation, Manager of Research and Development at Veolia Water in Australia, and Project Manager at the Berlin Centre of Competence for water in Germany.
