Phil was appointed IWA’s Chief Executive Officer in August 2020. He has over 25 years of local and international experience in the planning, delivery and management of infrastructure in both the public and private sectors and has held a number of executive roles as consultant, contractor and more recently on the client-side. His previous role saw him leading the delivery of the WA State Government’s non-residential building program and driving significant sector-wide reforms in infrastructure planning and development.

Nathan Ling is the Head of Western Australia for Neoen, one of the world’s leading renewable energy producers. Nathan has broad commercial experience across management, business development, project development, equity capital markets, and M&A. Prior to Neoen, Nathan held senior roles with Deloitte, ANZ, Euroz and Synergy.

Viv has a strong strategic business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and can develop effective plans aligned with corporate strategies, project demands, and macroeconomic trends. He's proficient in preparing reports, presentations, and managing contracts.

Viv is currently WA Civil Manager for Freyssinet, where he oversees the company's operations in Western Australia. His wealth of experience in the mining and resources industry makes him an invaluable asset to any team.

Tom has almost 30 years’ experience advising clients active in the building, construction and engineering industries. He is dual qualified in the UK and Western Australia, and is able to offer clients the benefits of his international experience in both contract drafting and dispute resolution.

His practice involves advising principals, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants, and is renowned for his pragmatic, common sense approach to claims management and disputes matters. He is particularly active assisting METS companies in the State’s key industries of energy and mining, as well as assisting numerous local government clients engaged in their major urban projects.
